Yiza eKhaya

For this project we collaborated with Mickey Winifred Linda, GreenHome, Hemporium and the communities that surround each. The building is located in a residential block in Kuyasa, Khayelitsha. From here, Mickey operates a local soup kitchen that provides a healthy meal to over 250 children and referral patients daily. This is the first step in the project. We hope to see it grow into a second building, with increasingly integrated social, food and income generating systems.
